Seriously yummy
Not many places serve food in Death Valley. Good source of basic Mexican style food at reasonable prices. Limited hours.
Great local Native American Taco restaurant! Huge portions! Dina behind the counter was the best. They also have shaved ice!
Love this place. Frybread is one of my favorite things and they do a great job
Clean restrooms, good food, Good people!
A must-stop in death valley. Tasty breakfast burritos and delicious fry bread (get it with cinnamon and sugar). Also has some great info about the local tribe and area history. Not to mention the staff is super nice and friendly.
If you find yourself in Furnace Creek, hungry, and wanting some awesome, rib-sticking food.... look no further. We were super hungry, and these Navajo tacos hit the spot!!
Loved the gluten free Indian taco. Great customer service. Beautiful desert scenery is a plus. Reasonable price.
Good food.
Fried bread tacos are delicious.
Great food! Fry bread tacos!
When visiting Death Valley National Park, you won’t want to miss eating at Timbisha Tacos! Not only does it feel good to support the Timbisha Shoshone Tribe, but the food is great and served in large portions! They also provide a very clean and friendly atmosphere, and have some tribal-made souvenirs like t-shirts and beautiful beadwork!
It’s like a cool oasis in a very hot place.Very friendly owner and great fresh tacos.
Definitely worth stopping in! The tacos and burritos are HUGE portion size and the unique flat fried taco was SO delicious! Already recommending a stop at Timbisha Tacos to friends planning trips to Death Valley!!!
Delicious!
I love native American fry bread and this is legit. Tacos are large, but they also have plain fry bread or with strawberries and fresh cream. Shave ice as well, and very clean restrooms.
Had the traditional taco and side salad. The taco was alright but the salad was overpriced, missing listed ingredients, and small.
Giving 1 star because couldn't give 0. There was nobody when we got in, so we ordered for 4 people. At first they missed an ingredient for 1 out of 4 dishes so choices were limited to 3. Then about 5/10 minutes later 2 other party's came in and ordered. We still didn't receive our food by now. Then those people did receive their food after 5 more minutes. They forgot about us! That's fine if the restaurant is full, but we were the ONLY people there!
Really good.
Had both a taco and a fry bread with strawberries and cream. I thought they were both delicious and even my skeptical kids devoured them! Infinitely better than the food choices over at our hotel!
Their taco was amazing! I like how they added their own style in making the shell. The snow cones were great as well just try to ask them to add syrup with half the ice in there so they don’t add all the syrup after all the ice is in there and doesn’t get to the bottom of the cup
Great place, huge portions, friendly hospitable people. A guy named Frank was working there the afternoon I visited. He came over and we started chatting - I'd lived with the Cree in Canada and we quickly lapsed into exchanging Cree and Shoshone words. Had a great time and we're friends to this day.
Great tacos!
Very nice, quiet, cozy place. Excellent burritos and fried bread, icees are delicious, too. It's 1/2 mile or so down a dirt road- totally how you would see an out-of-the-way place to eat in the middle of the desert. Staff and owner are very polite, and they get your food in a jiffy. Would recommend... :)
Frybread tacos... So good
Very good food. Reasonable prices especially for how remote it is. Friendly staff
The food is way overpriced for what it is...$36 for two tacos and Burrito, really? Fried bread is good. Our order got mixed up on two items.Restrooms where closed during our visit and the closest "plan B" is a few miles out at Furnace Creek. I find it hard to believe that between office and restaraunts buildings there's no restroom left that the few customers they get could use. Just shows that they don't care much. The place itself is very blank and has no character... 4 walls snd a roof in the desert. Insude looked like a bus of 3th graders just took off and left a mess. Tables and chairs all over, no attempts to organize. Dirty tables... With only 3cars outside had to pick a table based on which one looked cleaner. And no, you will not see anything related to indian culture, tribe history or etc.I believe in supporting locals in all possible ways, in this case i tried, but wouldn't come back. Many ways to improve.
Food was excellent! The actual restaurant lacked some cleanliness.
Great fried bread taco - delicious, a lot of it, and at a very reasonable price. I'm usually skeptical of any food in a national park, but the people here really did a great job for our lunch.
Meh
Great Taco
Tasty and unique
What a gem of a place. Great food and very lovely staff and owners. And the view alone is worth more than a trillion.Went three days in a row.
From the moment you arrive in this restaurant team give you a pleasant feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a nice place to go out with friends or with your date. tasty meals, specialist chef de cuisine, competitive cost and nice service. Highly recommended.
A bit slow serving, but taking in account that it's the only place with food in only good knows how many miles it does cost its price and waiting. Beef tacos, burrito, same with chicken, veg options, ice cream, hot drinks, coke. We had a nice break there
Over priced, low quality food. Truly nothing special at all.
This was a nice twist on a "normal" taco, it's a larger amount of carbs but that energy helps in death valley
Good food
Good, but expensive
Ate here today. The air conditioning was broken and so was the shaved ice machine, but the woman running the place was kind enough to make us food, even with the hot conditions in the back. The taco on fry bread is great. The bread was amazing, and the refried beans didn’t taste like mush. There’s a map on the wall by the entrance where you can circle or write where you’re from. The next time we’re here, we’ll definitely stop by.
Great tacos
Timbisha flatbread was delicious.
Friendly staff and very tasty food.
Fantastic hidden gem in DVNP. Go here for a delicious fry bread taco for much cheaper than the usual park spots, including veggie options. Clean restrooms, cold drinking water, and (at least when we visited) free coffee! Get a shave ice on your way out to beat the park heat.
Cool. Wish I could find out more about the Shoshone from the neighboring center, but the tacos are awesome.
Great local place with awesome food at good prices. Skip the furnace Creek resort restaurants and head over here for much better good at far better prices.
Great food and a lot of information about the valley and Mesquite trees that you can’t get from the visitor center
Great Indian Fry Bread tacos
Such a rad experience the lady working here was genuinely a kind sweet soul. We had a regular and vegetarian Indian taco on fry bread which was so delicious and satisfying it's a food experience must for Death Valley! It's a very nondescript building but follow the signs and you'll be there before you know it.
Great food! 🌮
